Fred Hollows ‘Eyes on Equity’ evening networking reception

It was wonderful to work closely with The Fred Hollows Foundation (FHF) to deliver their exclusive ‘Eyes on Equity’ evening reception at the Australian High Commission in London on 1st December 2022. Leading members of the International Eye Health Community, ambassadors, dignitaries and private sector businesses joined together to celebrate The Fred Hollows Foundation’s achievements over 30 years of tackling the challenge of avoidable blindness with a focus on the critical nature of equity in health and eye health especially for women and girls.

As well as the opportunity to network and make new connections, attendees heard from an inspiring group of speakers on the importance of how restoring sight is an effective way of easing poverty around the work, through education and providing independence to support their families and communities.

The MYT Events team provided full Event Management which included registration and attendee management, liaising with the venue, suppliers (AV, Catering, Photographer, Florist and Sign Interpreters), designing and providing banners and badges. Additional Programme Shaping & Speaker Management was also provided to coordinate the content and ensure our high-profile speakers were supported in the run up to the event and on the day.

It was our pleasure to support the FHF team – the event was successful, well-attended, and with inspiring speeches and a wonderful energy within the room that celebrated their achievements and looked forward to continued collaboration and partnership in the future.

Client testimonial

Thank you for your never-ending support of us and the event.

The biggest compliment I think I can pay you is to reflect a conversation I had towards the end of the event, when someone said how great The Foundation’s events team were in the UK. To integrate so smoothly into our ways of working and feel like team members is the ultimate in contracted event management.  Thank you so much and I hope you all have a restful weekend when it comes.
