Sightsavers Safeguarding Meetings
Thursday 23rd July – Thursday 27th August 2020
Beginning with the Programme Meeting in June 2020, which brought together over attendees from 30 countries and multiple time zones. MYT have since joined with Sightsavers on the 5 weekly Safeguarding Meetings.
Instead of running a conference over the normal 2 or 3 days, the Safeguarding team decided to provide 90 minute workshops each Thursday morning for 5 weeks. Each workshop was well attended and included a large amount of group work to keep attendees engaged. It was commented on how well this format worked allowing time between each session!
