NNN Conference 2018 Addis Ababa
This year Maximize Your Time embarked on another trip to the annual Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network Conference, (or NNN for short).
This year we embarked on flights headed towards Addis Ababa, the capital and largest city of Ethiopia to welcome 400 attendees from all over the world.
The conference was three days long and was being held as the United Nations Conference Centre within the Economic Commission for Africa, a high secure UN complex. The event was a culmination of months of hard work for MYT, where we were assisting in most of the elements of the event, including Programme Management, Venue Liaison, App Development and a busy schedule of evening events.
The event went fantastically, with workshops running concurrently during the programme and interesting discussions happening throughout the venue. The energy in the meeting rooms was infectious, with delegates making the most of this annual gathering.
The NNN this year had multiple evening events, hosted by Footwork, the International Podoconiosis Initiative and conference Platinum Sponsors ITI (International Trachoma Initiative) who are celebrating 20 years of work towards a world free of trachoma and ILEP (International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations).
Maximize Your Time were delighted to be a part of such an important conference, and were onsite throughout all the programme’s events and multiple venues to ensure that it all ran smoothly.
