Start 2019 with MYT
With the first month of 2019 drawing to a close, it’s important to both reflect on the successes of the year and continue to learn and develop for an even more impressive and productive 2019.
2018 took MYT to the far stretches of the world, including an event for 350 in Hyderabad and another for 400 attendees in Ethiopia. Closer to home, we have been part of some creative and enjoyable on-site experiences, as well as facilitated the successful deliverance of multiple important meetings up and down the UK. To read more about those, please do have a look at our blog posts. Amongst all of these incredible adventures MYT continues to work with a multitude of diverse of clients, scrupulously negotiating, orchestrating and confirming meetings of all shapes and sizes.
It is important to remember that none of our work would have been accomplished if it wasn’t for a hardworking, knowledgeable and supportive crew behind each and every project. With the M&IT magazine reporting this month that more than half of event professionals say their role is either ‘extremely’ or ‘very’ stressful, we at MYT have a team that understands not only each individual client and delegates needs, but also connect as a cohesive team which is imperative to deliver the quality of product that we are known for. This outlook has been part of the company since it’s inception over 20 years ago.
At the end of 2018 we said goodbye to a key office member, Zoë Stride, after three years of hard work and delivering multiple successful meetings and events as part of our MYT Team. The whole crew were sad to see Zoë leave, and our very best wishes to her for all future endeavours.
This year we welcome both familiar and new faces to the team. Georgina Anthony has returned to the MYT office after two years of travelling in a new role as Project Manager. We are delighted that Georgina is back in the team and we look forward to working with her again in many experiences in the future. Katherine Dickens has also come on board to the company. Katherine, who owns her own business delivering the Portsmouth Expo, has already made a great impression on the MYT office and her energy and positive attitude are reflected in her keenness to learn.
We hit the ground running this year and are already in full flow, striving to deliver the strongest and best year to date, despite the uncertainties that surround Brexit. MYT are confident of our core values and will continue to provide an efficient, flexible, professional and personal service which aims to deliver beyond expectations.
