HHR 2020

The MYT team was delighted to deliver the CHS Alliance’s very first online Humanitarian Human Resources (HHR) conference for four half days from 3 to 6 November 2020.
HHR2020 was an innovative and interactive online gathering for a growing global community of HR practitioners, researchers, experts and people leaders collaborating to reflect and learn from each other as well as develop practical solutions.
The goal of this year’s HHR was to raise awareness of the main lessons learnt from COVID-19 and together re-imagine the future of aid work. In the event participated humanitarian and development HR professionals, as well as those from academia and who provide services or consulting in the field of people management to participate. All attendees were encouraged to share their experiences, research findings, and insights with each other.
MYT provided support from planning to post-event stages.
We provided a suitable Virtual Platform for the event and collated all needed information to build the platform. We consulted with the CHS Alliance project team and produced a project timeline detailing launch of virtual site and onboarding information. The team at MYT liaised with all speakers and sessions leads with regards to content management for the platform and organised onboarding sessions and rehearsals. On the attendee side, we assisted with delegate onboarding sessions and attendee comms.
At MYT we really enjoy event delivery, and this event was no exception. Logistic and technical support was provided during the event – hosting the sessions, assisting speakers in sound checking and preparing for presentations and ensuring that webinars/meetings are started correctly and are viewable by all attendees were only a few of the tasks we managed on the day. We assisted with Sponsor support for the Sponsor Virtual booths which ran smoothly during the conference breaks.
We ensured all sessions were recorded and accessible for attendees to view on demand as soon as the live session had finished. Final post event feedback questionnaire was sent to attendees and detailed event analytics were provided to CHS.
