FatFace Peak Conference 2022

Where else can you listen to a bunch of adults going “Sweeet Carolineee,” other than the FatFace Peak Conference? And if you are not in the crowd, you are missing out.

MYT has been collaborating with FatFace since 2020 to host their annual festive conference. This year the conference finally went from ‘Zoom to Room’ and we couldn’t have been more excited. With over 240 store managers travelling from all around the UK, the FatFace Peak Conference was back in all its glory. It was only fitting that Hampshire, MYT’s hometown, was to host the event.

The conference was happening in MYT’s backyard and we were ready. Over the summer, we worked on building a bespoke agenda selection portal. The portal incorporated 52 sessions (with their subsequent changes), speakers, locations, and capacity limits for the venue. After logging on to the site, attendees could customise their experience picking and choosing from wrapping workshops, quizzes, and sustainability updates. Through the website, attendees were also introduced to Shelter, FatFace’s charity partner fighting the devastating impact the housing emergency has on our communities.

Closer to the conference, MYT worked on a mobile site that was available to attendees on the day. The portal provided complete access to the warehouse map and live updates on timings for sessions they had picked a week prior.

From veteran attendees to old friends and new timers, everyone was excited to be back after two years. And when Neil Diamond’s classic song Caroline blasted on stage, the energy had reached its Peak. Hazel from MYT was onsite to support with Slido Polls, update the mobile site and be on hand to support as needed.

The 2022 FatFace Peak Conference closed its curtains with a promise, a promise to be back next year with even more amazing activities, workshops, unlimited fun, and renditions of Sweet Caroline.

Now, time to get out the festive lights and light a candle because after dark the joy begins…
